The middle temperature heat pump draws thermal power from the glycol grid and the electrical grid and injects the energy at higher temperature level into the medium temperature grid.
The low-temperature heat pump is installed in the Nest building in room A09 in the basement. The low-temperature heat pump is connected to the glycol grid on the evaporator side and to the medium temperature grid on the condenser side. The system extracts heat from the glycol grid and provides heat for the medium temperature storage tanks. The system has two speed-controlled compressors and can be operated continuously from 25-100%.
