A therm pipe is a closed U-shaped pipe system arranged in a spiral filled with a circulating heat transfer fluid glycol. The therm pipe extracts heat from the soil.
The therm pipe is located in the ground on the south/west side in front of the Nest building. The therm pipe is connected to the glycol grid and can cool the medium temperature grid (regeneration) or provide energy for the low temperature heat pump (extraction).
